Venture Forthe offers care through a number of CO Medicaid-funded systems. For information on enrolling in Medicaid, please call us. We can direct you towards a financial advisor or other professional assistance.
Colorado’s Elderly, Blind, and Disabled (EBD) Waiver is a Medicaid program that helps eligible individuals receive long-term care services in their home or community instead of a nursing facility. It supports people who meet specific functional and financial requirements by covering services such as personal care, homemaker support, and other in-home assistance. The goal of the program is to help members maintain independence and quality of life in a community-based setting.
Colorado’s Community Mental Health Services (CMHS) are part of Health First Colorado’s behavioral health system, providing support for individuals living with mental health conditions. These Medicaid-funded services help members access therapy, psychiatric care, medication management, and other supports needed to live safely in the community. The goal is to promote stability, recovery, and overall well-being through coordinated, community-based care.
Colorado’s Complementary and Integrative Health (CIH) benefit under Health First Colorado offers members access to select non-traditional therapies that support overall health and well-being. Covered services may include acupuncture, chiropractic care, and other approved integrative treatments when medically necessary. CIH is designed to complement traditional medical care and support pain management, function, and quality of life.
Colorado’s Supported Living Services (SLS) waiver is a Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program through Health First Colorado (Medicaid) that helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live independently in their own homes or communities. The program promotes independence, choice, and inclusion while offering needed support to live safely in the community.
In addition to Medicaid payers, Venture Forthe is able to provide services through private insurance plans and private pay plans. If you’re unsure of your financing and/or insurance options, please contact us and we’ll be happy to offer guidance.
For those eligible for or currently receiving workers’ compensation insurance benefits, Venture Forthe works with your insurance payer to provide the home care services for which you are eligible.
If you’re enrolled in a Long Term Care plan through your private insurance company, Venture Forthe is able to provide the care you need. We’ll work with your insurance company to develop a care plan.
For those who wish to pay for home health care services out-of-pocket, we accept direct payments as well.
